Workout Benches Best Lifts
Once
you have your workout bench you will need to know what lifts to do.
Safety is the 1st concern. Learn proper form, use a spotter whenever
possible. The most important part of weight lifting is being
consistent. Make it a habit. Workout everyday or at least every other
day. The key to losing weight and building muscle is to get in a
regular routine of working hard. Take sometime to write out the
benefits you will enjoy being leaner and stronger. This list will be
the motivational fuel you need to push ahead in your workouts when you
aren't feeling it or want to stop. Write out a schedule for when you
will be lifting. Knowing exactly when you will be lifting will help get
your mind and body properly prepared.
The type of lifts you
decided to do will depend largely on your fitness goals. To lose weight
focus on high intensity lifts with lighter weight and more repitions.
Look for compound movements and take very short 30 second breaks
between sets. Keeping your heart rate will help your burn fat. If on
the other hand your goal is to bulk up and build strength we will do
different types of lifts. Focus on one or two muscle groups per
workout. Lift heavy weights in reps of 6-7, increasing the weight each
set. The goal is to do power movements and focus on big weights. Make
sure that when bulking you are eating a lot of food. To get bigger you
need to eat more calories than you are burning. You will need to
especially focus on eating more protein.
"This bench is one hell of a deal considering the price. I bought it to use with my Sumo rack. As an engineer, I give the designer of this bench an A+ for ergonomics, stability, durability and ease of assembly."
